Franchelle started her licensing career in 2005, during that time, she licensed her artwork to wholesale product manufacturers, such as, tote bags, fabric, ceramics, pet products, scrap booking, wallpaper, checks, children's furniture, and many more. During, her involvement with art licensing, she exhibited at the Surtex licensing trade show in New York, many times. She has stated "It was always a pleasure collaborating with wholesale manufacturers and visiting with other artists and designers at the trade show." In 2012, Franchelle was in a serious automobile accident on the freeway in her home town. It took her two years to recover. Just when Franchelle thought she was back on her feet, she was diagnosed with cancer in 2016. Although, treatment has been difficult, she is very happy to be alive. In the beginning of 2017, Franchelle decided to return to art licensing. She has quoted "Being an artist is part of who I am, and having my artwork to concentrate on helps with going through the process of cancer treatment."
