A. Set Your Magickal Intent
The Importance of Setting Clear Magickal Intent in Ritual
In magickal ritual, clear intent is the driving force that shapes and directs the energy of the magickal working. Just as an archer must fix their gaze upon a target before releasing an arrow, the practitioner must define their purpose before engaging in ritual magick.
Without a well-defined intent, energy disperses aimlessly, weakening the effectiveness of the astromagick ritual.
Why clarity of magickal intention matters:
🏹 Precision of Energy Direction – A vague or scattered intent leads to vague results. Magickal energy responds to clarity and a clearly defined magickal intent strengthens its outcome.
🏹 Alignment with the Cosmos – The clearer the intent, the better it aligns with planetary, elemental and spiritual forces, amplifying its potency.
🏹 Magickal Responsibility – A well-defined magickal intention ensures that the practitioner takes ownership of the magick they set into motion stepping into an active role of being a conscious creator of their own reality.

C. Prepare Your Ritual Space
1. 🕯️ Altar Space – Create a clean and sacred area for your ritual work
2.🏺 A Chalice or Ritual Glass – To hold water for elixirs
3.🔥 Heatproof Dish, Charcoal Tablet and Lighter – For burning incense (if using incense)
4. ⚗️ Porta Alchémica® Astromagick Formulations – For working with the powers of creation.
5. 💦 Holy Water – For cleansing and preparing the ritual space
6. 🌬️ Aura Mist – For sealing in your intention at the end of the ritual
D. Conduct 3-Step Basic
Astromagick Ritual
In the 3-step basic astromagick ritual, you are working with Porta Alchémica® elixirs only. You can work with as many elixirs as you like that fit your magickal intent. Adjust the words in the ritual according to the elixirs you are using.
If you would like to add magickal layers to your ritual with anointing oils and incenses, go to 5-step astromagick ritual.
STEP 1:
Holy Water
Cleanse, Prepare and Open Your Magickal Space
- Sprinkle Porta Alchémica® Holy Water around you, in the four corners, or flick your fingertips from a small dish to purify and consecrate the space.
- Say as you do so:
“I cleanse and sanctify with Holy Water.”
STEP 2:
Elixirs
Align Your Consciousness to Your Magickal Intent
- Place 3 drops of each of your chosen Porta Alchémica® elixirs into your chalice of water.
- Hold the chalice and say:
“I call upon with the power, intelligence and purposeful action of the planet …
[insert name of the planet you have selected],
the planet of…
[insert some keywords for this planet that resonate with your magickal intention].
to express powerfully, intelligently and purposefully through the zodiacal sign …
[insert the name of the zodiacal sign you have selected],
the sign of….
[insert some keywords for this zodiacal sign that resonate with your magickal intuition].
and manifest powerfully, intelligently and purposefully in the … mansion of my life,
[insert the name of the mansion of life you have selected],
the mansion of …
[insert some keyword for this mansion of life that resonate with your magickal intention].”
- Slowly drink the magickally potentised water from the chalice, feeling light fill every cell of your being.
STEP 3:
Breath and Aura Mist
Lock Your Magickal Intention In
- Blow four breaths into the space before you, saying:
“I blow it through my world,”
(Then blow your first breath)
“I blow it through the world,”
(Then blow your second breath)
“I blow it through the greater universe,”
(Then blow your third breath)
“I blow it through the worlds”
(Then blow your fourth breath)
- Spray the Porta Alchémica® Aura Mist in a triangular shape above your head, shoulders, and over your heart as a final sealing:
- First, spray above the top of your head.
- Then, spray above the right shoulder.
- Next, spray above the left shoulder.
- Say as you do so:
“Ita Est! (It is so.)”
Your 3-step astromagick ritual is now complete.
You can perform this ritual daily, weekly, or whenever you feel called to work with its energies.
Commonly Asked Questions
Ideally, daily for 28 days (the full lunar cycle), but feel free to adapt the frequency to your schedule. Regular practice helps build momentum and deepen your connection to the energies involved.
