“Growing up on a beautiful farm in Southern Hawkes Bay, NZ, supported my love and appreciation of nature and animals. My passion of wanting to learn about and understand others came from my mother’s interest and openness to alternative medicine and numerology, at a time when very little information was available.

My working life has been in the clothing trade in Auckland. As I loved creating and enjoyed having my own clothing label and making made to measure designs, especially in bridal and special occasion wear. Working with clients was so rewarding, supporting their outer – look. I noticed this was often a reflection of who they were inside, and yes we often spoke about esoteric interests.

“With a background in veterinary nursing and working with both domestic and farm animals, my practice includes assisting animals as well as people. As a First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® Practitioner since 2007, I have a longstanding desire to be of meaningful assistance to animals and to bring more ease into their lives with the help of the essences. The more our lives become integrated with the animals, the greater the call to support them at all aspects of their being. I have a practical approach in my work and recognise the value in also assisting an animal’s guardian/person with essences sometimes.

Of course, I do support and prescribe essences for people who do not have animals too! I love working with people. Everyone has a story, everyone has challenges and no one can avoid the ‘school of life’. “There’s always been a part of me that has wondered if I have yet found my true calling and, like so many other people, this has been a large focus in my life. I have pursued many things in the hope that this next thing was it and yet I still found myself searching for more.

Along the way, while I thought I was searching for my purpose I made an amazing discovery and realised that I was actually fulfilling my purpose all along and this searching was just my soul’s way to look for the lost parts of itself. Parts that been frozen and stuck in time and, for me, this meant I developed a deep yearning for learning about the mystery of the Universe and helping others.

When I experienced the Hypnotique Protocol Esoteric Hypnotherapy® Soul Retrieval program for myself, it hit me, this is ‘it’. This is the answer to that feeling of something missing, and more importantly it wasn’t something I had done wrong or failed at, and believe me that was such a relief.
