    The Moon has universally been associated with the forces of renewal and transformation due to its profound influence on the autonomic functions of the human organism.     The ancients understood that the celestial regent who is Mercury was the key to acquiring illumined understanding and was the means to access the essence of magic.     Exoterically Saturn is seen to be a planet of inertia, pressure, responsibility, endurance, restriction, concreteness and weight and as such it has been much feared by the ignorant.     The influence of Neptune helps us get our personality out of the way so that cosmic forces and powers can work through us. Neptune is referred to as being the planet of inversion, the planet associated with the law of reversal.

    Pluto is a very occult planet in part because of the newness of its influence and in part because of its remoteness in the solar system.
