The Esoteric Meaning of Soul Family
The term ‘soul family’ is used often today, not always accurately. So what does ‘soul family’ actually mean?
1. Soul Family Members Are United by Purpose not Personality Interests
In the esoteric teachings, a ‘soul family’, such as the House of the Bee® soul family, is a group of souls united by a common evolutionary path and purpose that is service orientated. It has nothing to do with an emotional attraction, liking each other or having shared personality interests.
2. Soul Family Members Recognise Each Other at the Soul Level
The souls in such a soul family have a strong spiritual resonance with each other and often recognise each other on the soul level. Members of the same soul group often work together in service to humanity and have done so together in many lifetimes. In the case of the House of the Bee® soul family this service has a strong healing focus.
3. Soul Family Members Evolve Together in Service
In the Aquarian Age, the age we are living in, it is becoming increasingly more important and necessary that the souls come together and learn to collaborate and work together for the greater good.
Advancement on the spiritual path in the Aquarian Age is no longer an entirely solitary pursuit. The soul now evolves in community, in relationship with others who are walking the same path of service and healing.
A soul family that is dedicated to ‘purpose good’, such as the House the House of the Bee® soul family, works to help form, plant and nurture the seed of the coming new civilisation – one people – one tribe of universal citizens who operate based on spiritual values and exemplify compassionate wisdom and active, intelligent service.

4. Soul Family Connection Spans Across Continents and Lifetimes
Many who are drawn to the House of the Bee® feel this very sense of recognition as a far memory — a pull in their soul, a remembrance of the soul connection and the work that has been done together over many lifetimes.
The House of the Bee® soul family is very very ancient. On this planet, its existence stretches back into ancient Lemuria, continues on through Atlantis and ancient Egypt and lives on today in its current new form and expression.
Many of us have journeyed together through time, returning again in this lifetime to continue our sacred healing work and our service.
5. You Know Your Soul Family by Inner Resonance
Over 50 years ago, when I began seeing clients and doing card readings, the first souls of this lineage, in this modern age, began to find their way to the teachings and healing practices of the House of the Bee®.
Many of these original members are still with me today, walking the path as devoted healers and wisdom-keepers in their communities.
Over the years, students from across New Zealand and around the world have found their way back into our House of the Bee® soul family —through the First Light® College of New Zealand Native Flower Essence Therapy, the Medicine Woman Centre for Shamanic and Esoteric Studies®, Esoteric Hypnosis Training Academy® and the Cosmic Cauldron of Transformation®.
